It’s getting very close now, and the project is still happening!
I will be arriving in Bastia, Corsica, on Tue, 25 Jun 2019, and leaving Bastia on Sat, 20 Jul 2019. From Bastia, I’ll head to Calenzana to find the trailhead. So that means I’m doing North to South, then South to North.
I’m not bringing crampons, there’s a good chance I won’t need them. If there is still snow and ice, I will just have to be super careful and use my poles.
My training is going ok. My foot injury has prevented me from doing much running, and I’ve been quite busy at work, but I’ve able to find the time to do some cycling, hiking and bouldering.
I’ve got news from my buddy that he won’t be able to join. Although disappointing, this won’t prevent me from doing it. It will be lonely but I’ll have to overcome this.
